Children’s Hospice Family Support Service cares for Brothers and Sisters too

Groups for brothers and sisters create a safe place where they can talk about their feelings, talk about their families and build their coping skills.

‘It's hard work being his brother but I love him with all my heart’

Supporting Brothers and Sisters

These boys have been part of a Children’s Hospice group where they’ve spent time getting to know each other, talking about what it’s like having a sick brother, and thinking about their worries and what helps them to be strong:

Ethan and Amy Rose give advice to others sisters and brothers

‘’Just stay strong and hope for the best, they might just be a fighter like Bethany’’

Their baby sister, Bethany, uses Children’s Hospice services. In this video Ethan talks about how he helps take care of Bethany and gives advice to other brothers and sisters.

Sadly baby Bethany has since passed away. However, her family still want her story to be heard.
